Tourism Forward: A European Showcase for Impact
The European Commission’s Tourism Transition Pathway calls for coordinated efforts to build a greener, smarter, and more resilient tourism ecosystem. In this context, the Together for EU Tourism (T4T) expert group and the Web3Tour project invite Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to submit outstanding examples of innovation that support this transition.
We are seeking ongoing or recently completed projects (within the last 24 months) that address one or more of the following EU-aligned focus areas:
- Digital Transition
Smart technologies, AI, blockchain applications, digital platforms, or cultural heritage digitisation - Green Transition
Low-carbon practices, circular models, regenerative tourism, or environmental certifications - Resilience, Skills & Inclusion
Upskilling, inclusive tourism models, local community engagement, or crisis adaptation
Why Participate
6 Selected SMEs will be invited to present their work at Tourism Forward: A European Showcase for Impact - the final Web3Tour event, held in cooperation with T4T on the 20th of October.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Excellence in Tourism Innovation and benefit from European-level visibility, policy engagement, and future collaboration opportunities.
Evaluation Criteria
Projects must demonstrate tangible impact, such as:
- Environmental outcomes (e.g. reduced CO₂, resource efficiency)
- Digital innovation (e.g. improved access, productivity, user experience)
- Social inclusion or workforce development (e.g. new jobs, training, accessibility)
- Scalability and potential to replicate across the EU
Submission Guidelines
Eligibility: SMEs based in the EU countries.
What to submit: Fill in the submission form
- Organisation name, country, and website
- Project title and brief description (max 300 words)
- Relevant theme(s), outcomes, and measurable impact
Deadline: 30 September
